I am emailing to say thank you for the excellent Trial Flight (2 May 09) you provided for my Father, Derek George, on the occasion of his 80th Birthday.
I would especially like to thank Tom Vaughan. Tom understood the needs of this man "of senior years" and looked after him, but at the same time respected his background knowledge of aviation and things airborne! Tom's relaxed and friendly approach (no pun intended) made the day especially good. I enjoyed the trip and Tom’s company too.
As a family we are so pleased Derek was able to complete this flight and going by the number of people he tells about the trip we can only guess he enjoyed it too!
